Access Care Limited provides Care Workers that live with people in their houses that need help with day to day living in the United Kingdom. These people may be old or young, disabled, terminally ill or indeed dying. We currently care for over 80 people and are expanding rapidly. We have over 200 Carers registered with us. The company has been established for over 16 years and we are committed to being a supportive agency who will welcome and support you at all times. To be a Carer you must be hard working, happy, kind, honest, loyal, reliable and responsible. Your written and spoken English must be of a very good standard. This job is about care and some of the duties you will be required to do are listed below:

Ø  Help people wash, bath, shower & use the toilet, changing pads.

Ø  Cook meals

Ø  Clean the house

Ø  Shopping

Ø  Helping with medication

Ø  Trips to Doctors, hairdressers, Dentists, day centres, to see family

Ø  Communicate every week with the office.

It is important that you understand that Access Care is an Agency that you register with and then may be offered ‘Bookings’. Access Care does not employ you. If you are offered a ‘Booking’ by us then you will be ‘Self-Employed’ which means you are responsible for paying your own Taxes in the UK (We will give you information about how to do this during your induction).

Because you are self employed there is a cost for the Training. Please remember that you are investing in your education and once working you will earn this money back quickly (when you will be being paid between £60 & £77 per day). As we do not employ you, you are free to accept work from other Agencies too, your certificates will be given to you and are valid in all agencies in the UK.
