Living with and looking after dependant adults in their own homes, 7 days a week for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time.

These adults may have learning difficulties or physical disabilities or be suffering from a terminal illness.  Most of our clients will need care at a higher level, you will be given the basic training to cover this.

Your duties will involve attending to their personal care.  Bathing, washing, dressing and in some cases assisting with urine and faecal incontinence, by changing incontinence pads and catheter bags.

Maintaining the clients home by shopping, cleaning, washing and ironing.

Helping with their moving and handling procedures by using a hoist or sliding board.

Prepare good home cooked meals.  Being a good companion to your client.
